Kell Brook (39-2, 27 KOs) had finally got his chance for a top-level fight. The former welterweight champion is set to attack the WBO throne and its king Terence Crawford (36-0, 27 KOs).
“Now I am a free shooter, I am in great shape and ready to fight. I believe that I can beat Crawford, I am 100% sure of that,” the Englishman said.
The first offer Brook received for his fight with Crawford was $1.5 million. Brook refused and offered to raise it, and now his purse is $2 million. Twice as much will be credited to Crawford's account - $4 million.
The fight will take place on November 14 in the USA on ESPN. For the American, this will be the fourth defense of his World Boxing Organization title.
