Ruiz vs Arreola, Ortiz vs Alexander on November 7 in Los Angeles

On November 7 Andy Ruiz Jr. (33-1, 22 KOs) will face Chris Arreola (38-6-1, 33 KOs) at the Premier Boxing Champions night in Los Angeles. The boxers have agreed to a fight, the date of which will be officially confirmed shortly. This was announced by Mike Coppinger, Athletic journalist.

Attempts to conclude a contract for this fight have been made for several months. This will be Ruiz's first outing in the ring since his defeat to Anthony Joshua last year.

The former WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion will prepare for the fight with Eddie Reinoso. The Mexican coach, best known for his collaboration with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, recently replaced Manny Robles as the head coach for the Destroyer. Arreola lost on points to Adam Kownacki in his last fight.

On this evening there also will be the return of Luis Ortiz (31-2, 26 KOs), who will meet Scott Alexander (16-3-2, 8 KOs). Thus, the 41-year-old Cuban will return to the ring after last year's defeat at Deontay Wilder.
