Eddie Hearn is without the main event of the boxing night on the street

Julio Cesar Martinez (16-1, 12 KOs) has health problems and will not be able to defend his WBC flyweight belt against McWilliams Arroyo (20-4, 15 KOs) in a fight scheduled for August 15. The Mexican is not feeling well and will not be able to train until the end of July, but his team says the disease has nothing to do with the coronavirus outbreak.

The fight was to be the main event of the evening hosted by Eddie Hearn in the middle of the street in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Martinez vs Arroyo confrontation will be pushed back to September, and Matchroom Boxing will try to add another valuable duel to the event's fight card.

In this situation, the new main fight is likely to be the meeting of Cecilia Braekhus (36-0, 9 KOs) and Jessica McCaskill (8-2, 3 KOs). The WBA, WBO, WBC and IBF welterweight titles will be at stake in the duel of the Norwegian and the American.

This will be Braekhus' second in-ring appearance since signing with Matchroom Boxing. In November, the Norwegian scored a unanimous decision win over Victoria Noelia Bustos. The US Boxing Night will be streamed on the DAZN platform and will be the first event hosted in the US by Eddie Hearn since the outbreak of the coronavirus.
