Oleynik refuses to fight Lewis on June 13

A few days ago, Aleksey Oleynik announced that he was offered to fight on a short notice against an opponent from the top 5 UFC heavyweights rating. At the same time, he did not name the proposed opponent. Oleynik said that he asked a good purse for such a fight, which he was denied.

Today, Alexei said that he was offered a fight against Derrick Lewis:

“They offered me a fight against Lewis. I said that in July I will fight gladly, but not on June 13,” the Russian fighter said.

On May 10 at UFC 249 Oleynik defeated Fabricio Werdum, the former heavyweight champion, on points.
