Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) sets new ambitious goals. The Brit was recently named by the Forbes magazine the highest paid boxer in the world.
Last year, according to the magazine, the 31-year-old boxer earned $57 million. Fury announced that he is not going to stop at this level of income and wants to break the records set by Floyd Mayweather and Saul Alvarez.
“I have two more fights on the contract with Top Rank, and I'm not going to leave boxing after that, I just want to sign a new major deal,” the Englishman said.
“I believe that I can do something more historical than Floyd Mayweather, Canelo Alvarez or Mike Tyson. I believe that this is possible because I always strive for the highest achievements. This is my next goal,” Fury added.
The Briton, who knocked out Deontay Wilder in February, is expected to return to the ring at the end of the year. Fury will fight in the third fight with Wilder, and then may meet Anthony Joshua or Dillian Whyte.
