Johnathon Banks, former trainer of Wladimir Klitschko commented on the story of Dillian Whyte, who in an interview to Sky Sports, said that he saw Klitschko brutally knocking Deontay Wilder (42-0-1, 41 KOs) out.

"I've seen him getting knocked out, Wladimir knocked him out. It wasn't no knockdown, he was knocked cold. Properly twitching as well. That's why they probably didn't want him to fight Wlad, because Wlad was going to fight him as a pro and Wilder never fancied it the whole time," Whyte said.

"I choose Wilder and other sparring partners... whether Wilder was seriously knockout out? No, that's not true, he wasn't. Whether he was on the floor? Yes," Banks said.

Deontay Wilder, who currently holds WBC heavyweight belt helped Klitschko to prepare for a fight in 2012. The Ukrainian had his training camp before the fight against Mariusz Wach. At the time Wilder had a record of 25 professional fights.
