Status of Errol Spence, Jr. (26-0, 21 KOs) is not as bad as was previously reported, despite the fact that his car after the accident on Thursday looked terrible. Two messages appeared in the social accounts about the state of the world welterweight champion:

"Unified welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. was in a serious car accident and is now in hospital in Dallas. Spence is in conscious, we are with him in constant contact, his condition is stable. He does not have bone fractures. Only facial wounds."

"We can say with confidence that Spence would recover, and now he is resting with his family. Spence family thanks everyone for their prayers for the good health and very grateful to the rescuers at the scene and a team of doctors."
