Jose Ramirez: I am ready to fight Postol

WBC junior welterweight champion Jose Ramirez (24-0, 16 KOs) is ready to defend his title against Ukrainian Viktor Postol (31-2, 12 KOs), but only if his promoter fails to agree on belt unification with WBO champion Maurice Hooker (26-0-3, 17 KOs).

“We are negotiating with Hooker. I heard that (Hooker’s promoter) Eddie Hearn made an offer (to Ramirez's promoter) Bob Arum. I hope Arum will allow me to go to DAZN, I hope they will be able to agree. I dream about this fight,” said Ramirez.

“But if it doesn’t work out, then I’m ready to fight my mandatory challenger, Viktor Postol. Or this boy, Arnold Barbosa. Ready to fight with him at any time. But Hooker interests me more, because he is a champion. For me it is important to fight in the unification bouts. It's my goal," said Ramirez.
