UFC fighter Aleksey Oleynik on Russia denied the information about his suspension from fights for six months on medical reasons. According to Oleynik, he is negotiating about the next UFC match in the summer. “I hear it only from the press. We are already negotiating with UFC about the fight in summer,” says Oleynik.
Earlier, it was reported that Oleynik got a broken rib in a duel with Alistair Overeem at the UFC tournament in St. Petersburg. The fracture was the result of a knee strike from Overeem.
At the end of the first round, after a series of accurate hits from the Dutchman, Oleynik fell on a canvas, and Alistair brought down a hail of blows. As a result, the referee had to intervene and fix Overeem's victory by technical knockout.
