Who’s for Joshua? Bookmakers point on Hunter

There is a frenzied search for a new rival for Anthony Joshua (22-0, 21 KO) after the New York State Athletic Commission refused to issue a license to Jarrell Miller (23-0-1, 20 KO) in connection with a doping incident. According to the bookmakers, Michael Hunter (16-1, 11 KO) has the best chance of crossing the gloves on June 1 with the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion.

30-year-old American, who as a professional lost only to Oleksandr Usyk, and in his last two performances defeated the massively built Martin Bakole and Alexander Ustinov, is up-to-date in full training, because he was supposed to return to the ring on May 25th. The Nevada native was one of the first to declare his willingness to replace Miller in a confrontation with AJ.

British bookmakers take bets on Joshua - Hunter contract at a rate of 3.0. Other candidates are below: Dillian Whyte, Luis Ortiz, Trevor Bryan, Adam Kownacki and Manuel Charr.
