Boxing matches are allowed in Belarus. Admittedly, they were not banned, because the country's President Alexander Lukashenko was not very worried about the coronavirus pandemic and advised his citizens to fight the virus with vodka. Therefore, in Belarus, boxing, like football, is not prohibited and today, on July 26, in Minsk, Alexander Ustinov (36-4, 26 KOs) scored a TKO victory over Tornike Purichamiashvili (9-14, 6 KOs).

Unbeaten heavyweight and Olympic silver medalist Joe "Juggernaut" Joyce (9-0, 9 KOs) scored a third round TKO victory over Alexander Ustinov (34-4, 25 KOs) in one of the undercard events in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England. Joyce immediately seized the advantage at the expense of speed, constantly beating the slow 42-year-old Ustinov. The left hook put Ustinov on his knees till the end of the referee's count. Time of the stoppage was 1:55.

On May 18, at a boxing night in Stevenage, England, in the main event of which in the fight for the WBO interim middleweight belt Billy Joe Saunders will face Shefat Isufi, Joe Joyce (8-0, 8 KOs) will have his first fight after signing a contract with Frank Warren.

At the Matchroom Boxing gala in Monte Carlo, the fourth victory after switching to the heavyweight was noted by the former contender for the WBO belt in the 200 pound division Michael Hunter (16-1, 11 KO). The American faced major problems in a battle with two-meter Alexander Ustinov (34-3, 25 KOs), who had previously claimed the vacant title in the fight with Manuel Charr.
