The Russian MMA fighter Ivan Shtyrkov will debut in the UFC on April 20 at a tournament in St. Petersburg. His opponent will be the American Devin Clark. “Yes, I will fight against Shtyrkov,” Clark said.
Initially, Abdul-Kerim Edilov was named as Clark's opponent, but the Russian was eliminated due to a leg injury.
The 30-year-old Shtyrkov scored 15 victories on a professional level, and one battle was declared a draw. The last bout "The Ural Hulk" held in December, beating Tiago Silva.
28-year-old Clark (9-3) returns after knockout loss to Alexander Rakic last December. Under the auspices of the UFC, the American had six fights: three victories and three defeats.
