McGregor: Any fool can be a champion once

The former UFC champion in two weight categories, Conor McGregor, expressed his opinion on championship belts.

“It is interesting for me to look around for defeat, and then to watch the comeback. We can always come back! Everyone can do something once. Can he do it twice? This is the question. That's why I doubled the titles every time. Any fool can become a champion once,” wrote MacGregor on Twitter.

The last MacGregor’s fight took place in October last year at UFC 229. There, the Irish player lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov in the fourth round and was unable to take the UFC lightweight title from the Russian.

Previously, Conor simultaneously owned two UFC belts in the lightweight and featherweight divisions. He achieved the same thing in times of his performances for the British promotion Cage Warriors. Worth noting that McGregor has never defended any of his titles.
