WBA lightweight champion Vasily Lomachenko has once again declared his desire to unite all the titles of the division. On December 8 in New York Lomachenko will fight with WBO title holder Jose Pedraza, and in 2019, he expects to meet Mikey Garcia.
“I will have my next fight in December against José Pedraza. I intend to unify all the championship titles in the lightweights. I think my next opponent will be Mikey Garcia. He has two titles, and the winner will get everything.
“Now I am focused on my performances in the lightweights, but after a couple of years I will rise to the light welterweight division. Everything will depend on how I feel and how much I weigh. Nobody can know what will happen in the future. Maybe I’ll finish my career in general,” Lomachenko said.
