Woodley finishes Till (video)

In the main event of the UFC 228 tournament in Dallas, the welterweight champion, 36-year-old American Tyron Woodley successfully defended his title, winning by knockout over the previously undefeated 25-year-old British Darren Till.

In the first round, Woodley acted more aggressively and was more successful in the stance, while Till sat on the back foot. Tyron tried several times to make a transfer to the ground, but a more dimensional Darren was part of a blind clinch - the referee separated the fighters.

In the second part of the meeting Woodley continued to build momentum, and in one of the episodes he caught Till with the precise counter right hook, sending the Briton to the canvas. The champion began to mercilessly finish the challenger, but he actively defended himself. Toward the ending of the round, Woodley masterfully conducted a strangling reception of "Dars" and Till had to tap out.
