The cruiserweight is officially announced as the third weight of the second WBSS season

The second season of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS) will be held in the cruiserweights. The unofficial information that appeared in the media in the last few weeks was officially confirmed by the organizers of the tournament for the Muhammad Ali Trophy.

The names of the participants of the third WBSS weight class for the second season should be officially presented in the coming days. In a group of eight boxers, boxing fans can expect former world champions Yunier Dorticos and Krzysztof Glovatsky, as well as former European champion Mateusz Masternak.

Probably, the tournament will include former world champion Mairis Briedis, the semifinalist of the first season, and the Russian cruiserweight Maxim Vlasov.

The first season of WBSS in the limit of 200 pounds ended with the triumph of Alexander Usyk, who unified the WBA, WBO, WBC and IBF titles.
