Usyk: I hope British fans will like what I do in the ring

Alexander Usyk

Unified cruiserweight champion Alexander Usyk (15-0, 11 KOs) spoke about his potential rivals in the heavyweight division.

- Are not you afraid that your highly intelligent boxing skills will met the misunderstanding of the British public?

- They love boxing and they are satisfied with what they are given. Even if you submit a substandard product, they will be content with it as well. Although they have quality boxing there, their fighters give it all in the ring and they show all the best that they have. But they want to see boxing in all its beauty and intrigue. They know about boxing. They will like what I do. It's not for nothing that they write about us in the press and they tell us on television. I'm sure they will consider what we are doing.

- If you won’t be able to make terms with Eddie Hearn, is there a plan for cooperation with Frank Warren and his fighter Tyson Fury?

- Why not? Yet he's an unreliable guy. There is always something incomprehensible with him. Now he's back, and then something happens to him again. There are many other guys against whom you can fight. Joseph Parker, who lost to Dillian Whyte for example. There are many others against whom to fight, you just have to negotiate.

- And, speaking of young American fighters, such as Jarrell Miller, Dominic Breazeale, as well as other guys who are looking for big fights. Is there any desire to come to America and deal with them there?

- There's also Wilder. But everything that my company will offer me, we will consider. If it is profitable for us, we will fight. Now, it seems to me, we have already shown what we are prepared for and what we can do. We do not need to prove anything else. We need to find good fights and make them.
