Smith brutally finishes Shogun (video)

In the main event of UFC Fight Night 134 in Hamburg the light heavyweights Anthony Smith brutally finished Mauricio "Shogun" Rua on the second minute of their fight.

Rua started the fight very actively and immediately began to pressure his opponent, but was clearly inferior in speed to his opponent. Smith managed to catch him on a counterattack, brutally "finishing" him with a protracted series of punches - Rua lost consciousness before falling to the flooring. The fight lasted one and a half minutes.

Immediately after the battle, Smith announced his readiness to fight Alexander Gustafsson on August 4 at the UFC 227 tournament. One of these days Volkan Ozdemir was injured, leaving the Swede without an opponent.
