WBC Interim champion Alexander Gvozdyk (15-0, 12 KOs) believes that Alexander Usyk (14-0, 11 KOs) should win his fight against Murat Gassiev (26-0, 19 KOs) and do it in the second half of the fight.

"Alexander Usyk has a very good sense of distance, excellent combination work and excellent foot work. These advantages will be the key in the upcoming fight.

“Murat is an excellent puncher with a hard blow. He will be very dangerous in the middle of the fight with his left hooks to the body and head. He is not as fast as Alexander on his feet, and not so smart to work with combinations but he has a wonderful timing, and I'm sure that he, like a puncher, will develop an excellent tactic for the fight.

“I do not think that this battle will have a quick start. The outcome of the duel will be at the equator of the fight, and there we will see what victory will be... early or by a decision of the judges," Gvozdyk said.
