Krassyuk: There is a possibility that Usyk vs Gassiev may be canceled

Alexander Krassyuk, the promoter of the WBO and WBC champion Alexander Usyk (14-0, 12 KOs) confirmed that his client's fight in the WBSS final against the WBA and IBF title holder Murat Gassiev (26-0, 19 KOs) is under the threat of cancelation.

"The hotel and logistics are not so crucial, the organizers of the tournament are helping. But we have some claims to the Russian side. There is some snag in the organization and we have a claim to them.

“There is a possibility that the battle will not take place. And it threatens more and more each day. If the battle does not take place now, then we will go our own way but we still will fight Gassiev. But this fight will be not at the Super Series," said Krassyuk.
