UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier responded to numerous verbal attacks by former title holder Jon Jones.

"Given the current situation and the fact that Jones does not have fights, he does everything possible to link his name with certain people and remain on surface. He chose a great way, because I am constantly asked about him. During the conference call for a fight with Stipe Miocic, which will take place in a week, the first question was asked about Jones. I answer these questions, journalists publish it, which makes it possible to support this topic.

“When a fighter falls into a doping scandal more than once, he destroys all his achievements. Anderson Silva was considered the greatest fighter just as long as he did not fail a doping test twice. Jones already came across the dope two or three times. These fighters destroyed their names. I want to be among the greatest - such as George St. Pierre and Demetrius Johnson", said Cormier.
