Okolie stops Watkins

In the main event of the evening at the York Hall in London, Lawrence (9-0, 7 KOs) scored a knockout victory in the third round over the previously undefeated Luke Watkins (13-1, 9 KOs) and won the titles of the British Commonwealth and WBA Continental champion in the cruiserweight division.

With his long arms Okolie began landing good right hands from the second round already, and in the third after several punches, Watkins went to the floor. Luke was able to rise, but began to miss the blow after the blow and was dropped again. Just at that moment a towel flew out of his corner, and the referee Mike Alexander gave a no go at 1:14.
