The leadership of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) optimized the prices for tickets for the first tournament of the organization in Russia. This was reported by senior vice-president of the UFC David Shaw.

The first tournament of the organization in Russia will be on September 15 in the sports complex "Olympic" in Moscow, the capacity of the site will be about 17 thousand people. In the main event of the evening the Russian Alexey Oleynik will meet the New Zealander Mark Hunt. Also at the tournament, Russians Zabit Magomedsharipov, Mayrbek Taisumov, Islam Mahachev, Rustam Khabilov and others will perform.

"We cannot say directly that we have lowered the price of tickets," Shaw said, "it's just that there is a large part of the population in Russia that would like to get to the UFC, so we made sure that everyone , who wants to attend the tournament, will be able to do it."

According to Shaw, the maximum price of the ticket is 32 thousand rubles (approx. €440), the minimum - 1,5 thousand rubles (approx. €20). "If a person wants to be closer to the octagon, he can do it for quite an adequate price, less than those that are in our international tournaments," Shaw said.

On Friday tickets for the tournament will go on sale. For example, the ickets for the UFC tournament in Hamburg are much higher - from €47 to €1,252 (from 3,400 to 90,870 rubles).
