Golovkin Knocks Out Martirosyan (video)

In the main event of the boxing evening at the StubHub Center arena in Carson, USA, the WBC, WBA Super, IBF, and IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin knocked out Armenian-born American Vanes Martirosyan in the second round.

Already from the first seconds Golovkin began to dominate the duel, but the challenger acted sharply and even managed to deliver two heavy blows at the end of the first round. The denouement took place already in the second round, when Golovkin landed a series of punches to Martirosyan and sent him to the floor, and the latter did not manage to rise until the referee stopped counting.
