Oscar de la Hoya, promoter of the star Mexican Saul Alvarez, said that in a possible rematch in September, Gennady Golovkin would pay for advertising, in which he ridiculed Canelo's positive doping tests.
"Canelo was simply terribly unlucky with this. He is a very popular boxer in Mexico, and now many may turn away from him. But in fact, he is one of the most honest guys I know. He went through a lot of doping tests. This is a terrible coincidence," de la Hoya said.
"As for me, this ad is a complete bullshit," Oscar added. "When there's a rematch in September, I'll tell you so, Canelo will make him regret it."
