Ortiz: Before the 10th round I was winning on points

Cuban Luis Ortiz commented on his defeat to WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. According to Ortiz, he was very close to victory and was leading on points before the 10th round, but then Wilder sent him to a knockout.

"It was a great fight, I did well. I think that before the 10th round I was leading on points, but heavyweight division is unpredictable, you never know what will happen. The round lasted a few seconds longer - I would have won, because I almost could get it through," said Ortiz.
