Russian cruiserweight contender Alexei Papin shared his expectations from the final fight in World Boxing Super Series between Oleksandr Usyk and Murat Gassiev.
"I was impressed with both [semi final] duels. Both were wonderful. I think that the finale of Usyk-Gassiev will be simply grandiose.
"I would not say that Usyk lost first four rounds [in a battle with Briedis], and then added. He took a high pace from the first round. It's another matter that this speed Briedis sustained only for four rounds. Then he "was blown away".
"Gassiev? Murat is very well disciplined, competently trained. That is, he clearly fulfills all the task for the fight. My assumption is that Murat clearly realized the plan for the fight: first he allowed Dorticos to get tired, and then took the initiative in his hands and finished the fight with a brilliant stoppage, as expected.
"I can not say if Murat or Oleksandr has advantage. They are two decent fighters. It is pointless to make a prediction for this battle," Papin said.
