26-year-old heavyweight Curtis Blaydes is ready to consider the option with the transition to Bellator, if UFC does not offer an extend of the contract on favorable terms for him.
"If UFC does not offer me a worthy contract for the next fight, then I will consider the proposal of Bellator. In this organization they offer very attractive contracts, and heavyweights there are not as high as in UFC. So the temptation is great - less competition for more money.
"I will not care if people do not know my name while my bank account is full. I'm getting in person not because I like it. I know the guys who like to get punched in his face. They like adrenaline, but not me. It infuriates me. I do this only because I get paid. If I were not paid, I would not do it," Blaydes said.
