Matthysse stops Kiram

Andrew Karlov Jan. 28, 2018, 3:21 a.m.

Argentinean puncher Lucas Matthysse (39-4, 36 KOs) in an extremely boring fight, except one round, got a stoppage victory in the eighth round over the previously undefeated Thai Tewa Kiram (37-1, 27 KOs) and got one of the vacant versions of the WBA welterweight title in the main event of the evening in Inglewood, California, USA.

Quite a boring confrontation found an unexpected end in the eighth round, when Kiram twice visited the floor.

The victory in this fight gives Matthysse a chance for rematch with former world champion Danny Garcia.
