Al Siesta, manager and promoter of WBC cruiserweight champion Mairis Briedis, is sure that the Latvian boxer will bring serious troubles in the ring to WBO champion Alexander Usyk. The meeting of these fighters will take place on January 27 in Riga as part of the WBSS tournament semifinal.

"Briedis is a very clever, very sleek boxer. He is a walking lie detector. He's one of those guys who, if they do something, they do it well. One day we were driving a car, and he was singing a song that sounded on the radio. And I thought: "Yes, he's a good singer."

"He has the biggest survival instinct of all fighters I've ever seen. He can break something that seems unbroken, and this is reflected in his work in the ring. He is very hard to beat. Alexander Usyk? He is in danger, as Briedis is good at reading emotions," Siesta said.
