Mayweather: If Lomachenko is what they say he is, they should make him and Mikey Garcia

The dialogue between the social pages of Floyd Mayweather and Vasily Lomachenko continues. Today on Twitter Lomachenko published a post in which Mayweather was asked not to hide his boxer Gervonta "The Tank" Davis and Floyd gave his answer.

"If Lomachenko is what they say he is, I think they should make him and Mikey Garcia...I mean, that's just my honest opinion...great fighters always move up...we call that legendary...a lot of fighters are taking shots at Tank...at the end of the day...Tank is not perfect, but his boxing record is," said Mayweather

The next Lomachenko fight is scheduled for April. His opponent will not be Mikey Garcia, who on February 10 will try to win the title in his fourth weight category in a fight against super lightweight champion Sergei Lipinets. Orlando Salido lost his last fight to Miguel Roman and probably will not become Lomachenko opponent also. Obviously, Lomachenko's team is now busy searching for suitable candidates for April and testing the ground with Davis, but Mayweather has already stated that he is unlikely to throw his Tank under tanks, and it does not seem that he will change his mind.
