Ali sensationally defeated Cotto in his farewell battle

The legendary Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto (41-6, 33 KOs) in his farewell fight sensationally lost via unanimous decision to the American Sadam Ali (26-1, 14 KOs). The scores were: 115-113, 116-112, 115-113. As a result of the battle, Ali took Cotto's WBO light middleweight champion title.
