Vitali Klitschko spins the wheels in Kiev

WBC world heavyweight champion Emeritus, the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko opened a children's bike school on the reconstructed Kiev cycle track. Bike school is open for children from 10years of age. Classes are free and will be conducted in two specializations: track and road.

The main selection criteria are the child's desire and proper physical preparation to cope with training. Vitali Klitschko himself along with the students of bike school took part in the first race on the newly opened cycle track.

"In May we opened an updated Kiev cycle track, but it was important for us to breathe life into it. And I am very glad that now many people train here, competitions are on the way, and today we are opening a children's bike school," said the mayor of Kiev. “We have already bought bicycles and received 80 applications from children who want to train here. I am sure that the school will work efficiently, and I wish everyone good luck! We will continue to modernize the cycle track to make it a pearl of our city Kiev."

The Ukrainian cycling track was opened in the summer before the Ukrainian Junior cycling championship and on September 30 and October 1, for the first time competitions were held for the cycling Open Cup of Kiev among all age categories.
