Usyk played for the veteran national football team of Ukraine

WBO cruiserweight champion Alexander Usyk (13-0, 11 KOs) played football with veterans of the Ukrainian national team. In a team with Alexander Vladimir Ezersky, Vladislav Vashchuk, Vitaliy Reva, Eduard Tsikhmeystruk, Vitaly Samoylov, Alexei Belik and Sergey Nagornyak performed.

His last fight Usyk spent on September 9 in Berlin against Marco Huck (41-5-1, 27 KOs) in the quarterfinals of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS), having won via TKO in the 10th round. Usyk will travel to Riga on September 30, where he will watch the fight of WBC champion Mairis Briedis against Mike Perez, in which his opponent will be determined for the WBSS semifinal.
