Alexander Volkov after the stoppage victory over Stefan Struve required five stiches to be cut under the left eye. In the main event of UFC Fight Night 115 in Dutch Rotterdam, Volkov in the third round defeated Struve by TKO.

"I have five stitches. As my coach says: "The pain will go away, but the victory will remain", so it all does not matter. Yes, they were pokes in the eye, he did not fight very cleanly, constantly throwing out his left hand with his fingers open. But such is the sport, we must be ready for everything," Volkov said.

"I do not think about where I want to fight with anymore, but who I want to fight. This evening five Russian fighters won, and I was fighting in the main event of the evening. Maybe it's time to hold a tournament in Russia?" Volkov added.
