Nery sensationally took the title from Yamanaka

In a clash of two undefeated fighters, official challenger Luis Nery (24-0, 18 KOs) scored a sensational TKO victory in the fourth round over Shinsuke Yamanaka (27-1-2, 19 KOs) and took away his WBC bantamweight title in the main event in Japan's Kyoto.

Nery boxed the first two rounds in a quiet pace, and then maximized the tempo and in the fourth round forced the referee to stop the brutal beating. For Yamanaki this fight could be the thirteenth title defense, which he owned for 6 years.
