Rushton: Manny hasn’t fought anyone like Jeff

WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao has never boxed anyone similar in style to WBO #2 Jeff Horn according to the Horn’s trainer Glen Rushton, who says the element of surprise could be Horn’s biggest weapon on July 2 at the Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, Australia with a predicted 55,000+ attendance. Rushton talked Grantlee Kieza of the Courier Mail.

“Manny has never fought anyone like Jeff,” Rushton said. “And Jeff is the kind of fighter who is difficult to prepare for because you never know what’s coming at you. He can turn southpaw like Manny, he can hit you with right-hand leads and he can move and fight from angles that Manny hasn’t encountered before.”
