Tony Bellew was giving his thoughts on Anthony Joshua v Wladimir Klitschko at the Wembley Arena weigh-in when Deontay Wilder approached and the pair traded words. Wilder and Bellew offered each other a future fight after arguing about their respective power and skills until the pair finally parted ways.

Bellew pushed his argument following victory over David Haye in March, whilst 'The Bronze Bomber' told the Liverpool man to look at the amount of knockouts on his record. It seems both are on the same page regarding a 2017 contest, and with Bellew's previous reign as WBC cruiserweight champion giving him an immediate ranking at 200 pounds plus, a title fight could be easy to make on either side of the Atlantic.

Since moving up from his perch at the lower limit, Bellew has been linked to fights with Tyson Fury, Joseph Parker and Wilder as he contemplates his next move. Talk of retirement has been quashed as Bellew potentially moves closer to a chance at another coveted green and gold belt. American Wilder is in the UK capital to run the rule over Joshua and Klitschko ahead of a possible unification against the winner.
