Hughie Fury explains why Klitschko lost to Tyson

The fight Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko will be taking place at Wembley Stadium on April 29 with three versions of the world heavyweight titles on the line. It will be Klitschko’s first fight in 17 months after a shock defeat at the hands of Tyson Fury in 2015. AJ is the bookies firm favourite for the fight but world title challenger, Hughie Fury - Tyson's cousin,  believes Klitschko will emerge victorious.

“It’s a great fight but I think the fight has come too soon for Anthony Joshua," Fury exclusively told World Boxing News.

"Wladimir is a very experienced man and he wasn’t an 11-year champion for nothing. Since losing to Tyson, I think people have looked at Klitschko and thought he’s getting old and is probably finished now. The problem was, he couldn’t predict what Tyson would do next which made him wary. Whether that was at press conferences or in the ring and that’s why he couldn’t land any shots on Tyson because of that unpredictability.

“The man is so hungry having lost to Tyson and wants to make a statement of intent to prove that he is still the best. He’s a man of honour and wants to put his name back up there. Anthony does possess the power to knock him out, so it’s going to be an interesting fight. Joshua has done very well though in the short amount time he’s been around and I wish him nothing but the best ahead of the fight.”

Fury has his own date with destiny when he challenges Joseph Parker on May 6 as the young contender bids to regain Tyson's old belt and bring it back into their fighting family.
