Unified junior welterweight Terence Crawford (30-0, 21 KOs) has an opponent for his May 20 HBO-televised main event at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. He will face contender Felix Diaz (19-1, 9 KOs), the 2008 Olympic gold medalist from the Dominican Republic. Lou DiBella, Diaz's promoter, told ESPN he has made a deal with Top Rank. "All material terms are agreed to. We are waiting for the paperwork," DiBella said on Wednesday.

Diaz appeared to be the only legitimate candidate all along since the other three mentioned prominently over the past couple of months were not realistic: Antonio Orozco has another fight scheduled for April 1, Amir Imam was unacceptable to HBO and Adrian Granados, coming off a grueling loss to Adrien Broner in February, was not available for May 20.
