Interim UFC middleweight champion David Benavides said that he is no longer seeking a fight with the division leader Saul Alvarez.
Earlier it became known that the Mexican rejected an offer to fight the American for $ 55 million.
"They say I have to be respectful to him. I will not bow the knee to anyone, because I deserve my chance. This fight won't happen because he wants $150 million dollars. That shows that he's afraid. I don't think the fight with Alvarez is going to happen, so I need to move on. The guys at flyweight are real killers. I'm one hundred percent focused on them now," Benavides said on The Fresh and Fit podcast.
