Bones has been offered a fight with Strickland.

"I was offered a fight with Cannonier for June, and I liked the idea, but then they came back two days later and said, 'Paulo, you're going to fight Sean Strickland on June first.' It's a cool fight, even more interesting than the Cannonier fight. Unfortunately, I don't know what happened, but Strickland said 'no'. He refused to fight me. That's what the UFC told me. That's the information I got from them. But it would be great - I would love to fight Sean."
