Perennial UFC commentator Joe Rogan has spoken out about the fight between the promotion's former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and Hamzat Chimaev, which took place last October.
"Kamaru didn't have a chance to prepare for that fight. He only had 10 days to prepare. That's not enough. I understand that Usman is always in shape, but as we know he has very bad knees. So I don't know how he was able to work for those ten days. Maybe he had to put a lot of strain on his knees. He couldn't have been at his best on the day of the fight.
All I know is that Usman beat Chimaev in the third round. So imagine how this fight would have ended if it was a five-round fight," - quotes Rogan MiddleEasy.
Recall, Chimaev defeated Usman by majority decision of the judges.
