Ukrainian boxer of the first middleweight Serhiy Bogachuk (24-1, 23 KOs) commented on his victory in the fight against American Brian Mendoza (22-4, 16 KOs).

Bogachuk won by unanimous decision of judges and won the belt of interim champion according to the WBC.

"I want to say that this is a victory for my country, Ukraine. We are going through a difficult time. With this performance I want to motivate our people to win.
