Strickland is demanding a rematch with Du Plessis.

Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland continues to insist that the promotion must arrange an immediate rematch with current titleholder Dricus Du Plessis.

"The fans want me and Dricus to meet again. We're all well aware that I fought in a dirty liberal country and I just got dumped. Dana understands that. The UFC understands that. If any other fighter was in my shoes, he would get a rematch.

I'm not going to pave my way to a title shot from scratch. If I get denied the fight with Dricusse, I don't know what I'm going to do. Probably go to boxing...", - wrote Strickland in Instagram.

Recall that on January 20 in Toronto, Canada, Strickland lost to Du Plessis by split decision of judges.
