George St. Pierre, former two-division UFC champion, named three fighters who performed best against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
"Three guys fought Khabib really well. First of all, it's Glason Tibau. A very even fight, very, very even. The second was Michael Johnson, my training partner. He was acting great until he lost confidence. Michael is very gifted and talented, but it all went downhill when the fight started to not go in his favor. Had he started the second round well, things would have turned out differently. Well, and Gaethje was doing some things well, especially in the beginning. He was hitting well with his feet and his hands, but the standard scenario repeated itself - things started to go against him and it all fell apart," St-Pierre said on the Pound 4 Pound podcast.
