Henderson doubts Khabib would have been able to get a tekdown of Bo Nickal

Legendary American mixed martial arts fighter Dan Henderson is not convinced that former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov could successfully utilize his wrestling skills in a fight with middleweight prospect Bo Nickal.

"I have confidence that Khabib could perform even better if he didn't win in this style with an abundance of wrestling every time. In my opinion, wrestling is by far the best base for MMA, especially Greco-Roman wrestling. It works better in mixed martial arts than freestyle wrestling. But you don't get the win right away with it.

If Khabib couldn't outpoint someone, I don't know how well he'd be doing then. I mean, he's fine with his footwork, but if he couldn't outbox any of these guys who could throw punches better than him, he'd probably be in trouble. If Bo and Khabib were destined to meet, I think he would have gotten an effort transferring Nickal. Although it's possible that he might not have transferred him," Henderson is quoted by Gine me Sport as saying.
