"My legacy is growing." Pereira spoke out about his career

Alexandr Ormanji March 22, 2024, 5:52 p.m.

"It means a lot to me to be headlining the anniversary tournament, because once I was signed to the UFC, a lot of people doubted that I would even be able to make a name for myself. They were like, "A kickboxing guy? How can this guy fight if he doesn't have wrestling?" And now I'm headlining UFC 300, everybody understands what that means. My legacy is growing. I'm still coming out to fight, and people know how hard it is to win two belts. A lot of people have tried, but not all of them have succeeded. Only a few have achieved it, which I am one of them, so I think it's very important. I will do my job the same way I've always done it," UFC Portal quoted Pereira as saying.
