UFC fighter disqualified for 4 years because of a failed doping test

Walt Harris, a UFC heavyweight fighter, has received a lengthy suspension for failing a doping test in July 2023. Walt was disqualified for four years. Thus, the American athlete will be able to return to fights not earlier than July 2027.

It is worth noting that this is the second time that Harris fails a doping test. In December 2018, he beat Andrei Orlovsky by split decision of judges, but after the fight it turned out that Walt failed the doping test, so the result of the fight was canceled.

Recall, Harris was supposed to fight Josh Parisyan at the UFC tournament on ESPN 49, but the fight was canceled after it became known that Walt failed testing for banned drugs.
