UFC will pay fighters $335 million to keep the case out of court

The UFC, the world's strongest mixed martial arts league, and a group of nearly 1,200 fighters have reached a settlement over a pair of antitrust lawsuits that will no longer go to trial. The promotion will pay the fighters $335 million and the case will be dismissed.

"We are pleased to have reached an agreement to settle all claims asserted in the class action lawsuits, bringing the litigation to a close and benefiting all parties. The final terms of the settlement agreement will be submitted to the court for approval," the promotion said in an official statement.

It should be noted that the court hearing on the suit was scheduled for April 15 this year.
